Daylight Saving Time

Post by Keith Holman »

Our Congress decided to start Daylight Saving Time earlier than usual this year.
No adjustments were necessary to the board as this one is set to GMT(Zulu).
But there will be adjustments elsewhere (rising before dawn, more daylight after dinner, etc.)
How do you feel about it?

Working 2nd shift, I get up when I get up. Really makes no difference at all to me.

Stupid shift messed up not only my Microsoft Outlook calendar, but also the cool "smart clock" my wife bought me back in 2000. Guess I need a new clock.

Or maybe one that's smart enough to second-guess Congress? (Any other comments along those lines would certainly get me into trouble so I'll stop there.)

Daylight Savings Time

During WWII we went on daylight savings time for the duration. I'd be happy if we did that again instead of shifting back and forth.
