In the second round, everyone will be able to vote for only one (1) choice. They are listed in alphabetical order here.
This poll will remain open until and through January 15, 2012.
In the first round, there was a tie for third place so there are four choices here instead of the planned three. See here.
They are listed in alphabetical order here.
If you'd like to "campaign" on behalf of one of these locations, please reply here to make that information known to others who will be voting.
If you have no preference, please indicate that. It's good to know that a broad number had the chance to voice a preference, even if they had none.
For reference, past locations were: 2004 - Charleston SC, 2005 - Jacksonville FL/Kings Bay Ga, 2007 - New London CT, 2009 - Bremerton WA, 2011 - Charleston SC

Also recall this note from Fred Huwe, Association president:
Remember that it is very hard to set up a reunion in a place where people from the Madison may not be willing to help out. Charline and I have done the last three with some local help.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you are a former Madison sailor and/or a member of Reunion Association and cannot login and have your vote counted, send an email to website@ussjamesmadison627.com NOW to make it so you can. Do not wait until the voting closes and then say "oh there was a problem". I am not set up to take votes by email.

In 1963, 50 years ago come 2013, the Madison was launched, the commissioning crew was being assembled, and we were on our way at the shipyard in Newport News, VA. To celebrate that 50th anniversary, let's go back to Newport News for the 2013 reunion. There's lots to see and do in the Newport News/Norfolk area, and while I haven't asked, I think the shipyard would like the publicity and so would assist with the arrangements. We've already been to Kings Bay for a previous reunion. Let's complete the circle before repeating locations.
