Getting to Bremerton -- Relive that Submarine Experience

Post by Keith Holman »

We've been checking out options for getting there.
Since we've both flown over the west but done very little on the ground, we checked the fares on Amtrak. Very reasonably priced, provided you don't mind sitting up for a couple of days. We checked into their options for sleeping and realized that one option includes reliving that submarine experience.
Click here for a "Roomette" and check out the dimensions on those bunks!
Dimensions
Room:
3'6" x 6'6"
Lower Berth:
2'4" x 6'6"
Upper Berth with Steps:
2'0" x 6'2"
Of course, it's not for 60 days and there is a window for the lower.

ps -- I think we're going to be flying!
