Remember that last night at home before going aboard the Madison to set the manuvering watch - or boarding that flight to Scotland for the change of command? I know you do. Perhaps this poem will stir up some bittersweet memories of those last few hours before you had to say "good-by".
The name of this poem is "Now" I hope you enjoy it.

Now

Hold me now, my darling,
And tell me how much you care.
Help me delay the morning,
The sun I once thought so fair.

Let us not waste a moment,
Not a second while we’re alone.
Hold me now, my darling,
For tomorrow I’ll be gone.
