WOW!!! I am overwhelmed.
I ran across this website and forum last week because of a discussion with a co-worker about my military history and the current status of the Jolly Dolly. This must have come about because I hung a couple pictures of the Jolly Dolly on the wall in my office. LOL
Many ... many memories have come flooding back into my feable brain as a result. To be honest ... I have not fully come to grips with all of these memories ... some good ... some bad.
But whatever those memories are ... I would like to become a part of this endevor ... as my personal time permits.

Welcome back, PO Notso.
I'm glad you stumbled your way back to the ship.
As you look around a bit, you'll see that there is an association of former Madison sailors being formed. Make sure our sec'y has your postal mailing addy. (Easiest is to hit the PM button and send it to Fred/Charline Huwe)
There's getting to be quite a few of us in DC/Balto region.
Pull up a chair. Drills in the am. Field day on Friday. See you there.
