Looks like the USS Canopus AS-34 or at the minimum a sister ship. Go t AS 34 home page, has the same type bridge, aft cranes and rear smokestack! Do not know where it was at!

I was in my bunk :smt015 on the starbord outboard side of the library when it happened! I had an outboard bunk. If it were not for the hull between us, I could have touched the Victor :lol:

I bought my daughter a 1995 Chevy Cavalier with 160,000 miles on it a year ago for $700 and only had to rebuild the rear brakes and put new tires on it ($400). The reactor compartment was delivered to Hanford during the 2000-2002 era when I was working there in the Tank Farms. Being ex Bluie I was there when she was laid to rest, alas no cerimony
