Re: Patrol Pin Stars

Don't know if I did it correctly or not, for 7 patrols I wore 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Reunion Poll

My vote is Time and Distance (that option is on the other poll). I personally would love to come and meet fellow shipmates and I hope I will be able to make a reunion in the not too distant future. Thanks for keeping the Madison alive.

I think it was patrol 53 or 55 when we did As and Ds while we headed out to patrol. Having just finished food load out after refit, I was still missing a few #10 cans of mixed nuts....funny how they all don't make it into the food lockers when you had to bring food on board one can at a time. Well,...

Hmmmm.....official only means that who ever wrote the official document, some yoeman I would venture, that is the way it was as he understood it. It doesnt necessarily make it fact. Its possible if a couple other people coroborate Eriks version then I would tend to believe his story.

Ships History

"The New Year Year of 1965 founded the JAMES MADISON en route to Charleston, South Carolina to load and check 16 nuclear armed missiles, each capable of striking targets up to 2500 miles from the ship"

Shouldn't "founded" be changed to found?
